Intelligence Community to Hold

Virtual Career Fair For Job SeEKERS

Free Registration and Attendance; Hundreds of Jobs Available Nationwide

 

January 11, 2010 — Nine agencies from the United States Intelligence Community (IC) will be participating in the first IC Virtual Career Fair on Tuesday, March 16 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. ET. This free, online event will allow registered job seekers to learn about available intelligence jobs, interact with recruiters online, and apply to open positions from the comfort of their own homes.

“The IC Virtual Career Fair allows us to leverage the latest information technology to attract the Nation's best and brightest talent,” said Dr. Ronald P. Sanders, IC Chief Human Capital Officer, Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

The fair will highlight hundreds of career opportunities available nationwide in a wide array of disciplines including cybersecurity/information assurance, intelligence analysis, business management, and engineering, just to name a few. Special emphasis will also be placed on recruiting diverse candidates proficient in foreign languages with cultural expertise from our Nation's many heritage communities.

Participating intelligence agencies include: National Security Agency, Central Intelligence Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Department of Homeland Security, Navy Intelligence, National Reconnaissance Office, and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

In addition, attendees will be able to live-chat with recruiters, learn about and apply to open positions, watch video presentations, participate in live question and answer sessions, upload/manage documents in their virtual briefcases, and create avatars of themselves—all in a 3-D environment.

Starting Tuesday, Jan. 12, interested individuals may register online at www.ICVirtualFair.com for the March 16 virtual event. After March 16, the IC Virtual Career Fair will be accessible on demand for 90 days (until June 14, 2010) without chat capabilities. Online registration will be open until the close of the 90-day on-demand period.

Welcome to The Chaldean Federation of America

We, the Chaldeans of the United States of America, are the descendents of the ancient inhabitants of Mesopotamia-today’s Iraq. We are Catholics who speak Aramaic, the language spoken by Jesus Christ. Our ancestors adapted Christianity in its early decades.

 We, do hereby the establishment of a community based charitable, educational, and humanitarian relief organization. The Chaldean Federation of America (CFA) is a Grass Roots Community Non-profit Umbrella Organization.


Mission:

  • Advocate for settling thousands of Chaldean refugees outside Iraq to country of permanent residency and provide humanitarian relief while they are in the waiting
  • Provide assistance to new refugee arrivals and help detainees and asylees in their cases  
  • Provide humanitarian relief for displaced people inside Iraq
  • Help establishing a secure province in Northern Iraq where displaced Chaldeans may relocate
  • Support advocacy issues that affect our Chaldean American Community
  • Award annual scholarship during annual commencement ceremonies for the new Chaldean graduates

 

We affirm our belief in the United States and its Constitution. Since all Chaldeans around the globe are integral part of the Chaldean Community, the Chaldean Federation of America shall extend these objectives for all the Chaldeans through out the world.

Year 2007 marks the 25th anniversary of the Chaldean Federation of America founding.

The CFA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We were founded in 1981.
