Chaldean Federation of America (CFA) Refugee Resettlement Program

Over the past three years, more than 80,000 minorities have been forced to flee Iraq to escape unrelenting violence and ethnic/religious persecution. Chaldeans are the original inhabitants of Iraq, but are now not safe nor welcome in their homeland.

The Chaldean Federation of America (CFA) has launched Operation R-4 to help Iraqi minorities relocate to countries of permanent residency, including the United States. Refugees are now being interviewed by the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) and, subject to qualification, will be allowed to travel to their country of choice for permanent residency.

Moving forward, the CFA will continue to help find solutions to alleviate the suffering of Christian Iraqis inside Iraq and help them find a country they can call home.
